    86 325es rear diff sensor

Hey does anyone have the rear diff sensor for a 325es I swapped my diff to a 325i and when I plugged the wire into the sensor my speedo doesn't work.. I'm assuming I need to put the same sensor that was from my old one in but I don't have the old diff anymore..

I believe all the sensors should be the same. I'm sure someone else will chime in soon. If you just end up needing another sensor I have a couple.

On the "e"s there are 3 different ones. But the sensor you need is specific to the diff not the car, so if you swapped over the diff it should work.

E30 diff. sensors could have different types of connectors. (spade vs. pin types)

Much easier to to replace the sensor rather than speedometer. It could be that the sensor you have now is dead, too.
