wtb: getrag 260 bellhousing

Cracked my bellhousing during a rebuild

looking to buy a getrag 260 bellhousing, or a complete g60 if its blown and I'll cannibalize what I need.

Hopefully someone in the tristate area has one because I'm looking to get this asap.

Bellhousing is part of the tranny, you need a complete 260.

Only the 265 had the removable bell housing.

I guess maybe im misunderstanding the terminology, I need the casing that goes over the gear set with the input shaft bearing / lay shaft bearing.

it's not removable. the housing on a Getrag 260 is basically one piece.

Like I said I might be using the wrong terminology but I 100% took the transmission casing off with just nuts and bolts.

that's the transmission housing. it's just the terms you're using. the bellhousing is just the part that covers the clutch and bolts to the block. on some transmissions, that part is separate from the rear half that encases all the gears.
