    Wanted: Instrument Cluster clear covers

    Hello all,

I am trying to buy as many core clear covers as possible for our cluster restorations.

As many of you know, working with these fragile covers can be an ass pain. They often crack from removal and improper handling.

If you members have any cluster housings with intact covers or covers alone, I will certainly buy them or provide store credit.

As long as the covers do not have cracks or breaks, we will buy. Light and medium scratches are ok, stains are ok, sticky residue is ok.

Please PM me and we can discuss pricing. This is an ongoing effort so keep your PM's and offers coming.

I got one that I polished then applied clear coat spray in order to make it clear but the paint came out dull, so if that works for you then PM me.

Sure, as long as it has no cracks we should be able to restore. Shoot me a pic

It really depends on how much scratching and hazing is required to remove. Typically $10-20each.

This one is $10 for sure than. Do you know what causes temperature gauge to stick in cold when first started then 10 seconds later comes alive and works fine?

Its most likely your SI board failing. If you have never replaced it, it could be near death. SI board controls tach, temp, MPG and OBC calculations.

As long as they are late model and no cracks, I can do that for you. We've also done business in the past so we can work out something.
