WTB: 318i, 320i, or 2002 cheap

I am looking for a cheap beater for daily driving. I dont really care about exterior or paint so long as it drives and stops. Willing to spend 1,000, but I want a 5 speed.

Id like to find something local, but I can drive a little bit to pick up.

Yea, my eta gets better milage than yours, but an m10 gets better milage than mine. Main reason is because my car got fucking broke into, and I dont want to have it messed up any more.

Edit: I want my car to be pink like heeter's.... :roll:

a m10 e30 would be less of a headache than the other choices.

And maybe I can get a different color on each panel. Helios style, or whatever volkswagen calls it. Or ricer style, if I can get like 7 different colors.

a m10 in a 2002 may not get more mpg than your eta. My eta got 29 mpg and my 2002 only got like 23

Im not that concerned about milage, my 2.7 gets about 26 combined. 28 on the highway. I want an e30 more, but Im looking for basic transportation thats not really a 'target' like my black car.
