Wtb: iX front strut housings

The spring perch on my drivers side front strut housing failed due to rust. Looking for a replacement housing in good condition. Doesn't need to have inserts. Would prefer to buy both sides (drivers and passengers) that would fit a '91 325iX. Drivers side the priority for now though.

strut housing

I have a pair that I just pulled. They are very solid with just a bit of surface rust starting here and there. I put inserts in not long ago and the gland nut threads are excellent. The bearings are not the best, but the drivers side is better than the passenger. I am keeping the Bilsteins and the gland nuts that go with them. I will send a good sway bar link with them/it as well as a PPG painted spring "hat".

I just rolled into a major snow event, so I will need a little while to get a precise shipping estimate. I have been asking $225.00 each for these, but will discount a bit since they need bearings (I think the driver's side would be fine for a while as is).
