My dad needs a vanos head for his s52. Socal local pickup preffered. Really only need the head and not the camshaft and trays.

Yes the m44 head is totally different than the m42 head.

I have one that's been sitting for a while it's complete exhaust I took one of the cam trey studs out for my car and I don't know the mileage on but shoot me a pm I might be interested in that T3 turbo..

Just curious, why do you prefer an e36 one? I thought they were the same.

The e30 m42 head actually has 7mm valves and the e36 m42 has 6mm valves. And the springs are different. Other than that, they are pretty much identical

I have a 91 e30 m42 head, 4x intake valves are bent, 4x exhaust valves are ok. No cracks, let me know, $100 plus shipping

I also have a m42 head in my garage. In sure of condition. About 200k on it. Has a helicoil in cylinder #1. I'll pull it off the block and take pictures tomorrow. Just send my a pm with a email adress if your interested.
