    Small spring for 'vert flap

My 1991 318iC is missing the small spring that keeps down the black flap that lays flat when the convertible top is down. The black flap is right by the shoulder of the rear seat passenger and moves up/down when the convertible top is opened/closed. Without this spring, the black flaps sits upright and doesn't get pulled down/shut.

If you have a 'vert that you've relegated to a parts car, I'd appreciate being able to buy this little spring from you.

    Many thanks!

I may have it, but honestly,if you make sure the top folds well and not bunched, the weight of the flap should hold it down and not appear ajar.

If the spring is missing make sure that the retaining tab is still intact. The whole plastic doohickey is also available from the dealer for not too much
