    WTB M20 Camshaft

    my car was misfiring really bad, pulled off the valve cover and noticed bad wear on my intake cam lobe on cylinder 1. looking for a Camshaft, i dont know if it matters but it is a 885 head. pic is of the damage.

    You can buy a brand new stock b25 Febi cam for $140 from bmaparts. Hardly worth buying a used one

      Agreed. New is a good option is your're staying stock.

      Check your rocker(s) too though. Don't put a new cam in there with worn rockers.

        how do you tell if worn? look at the inside bore of them i assume?

          The foot that rides the cam lobe will likely be warn. They should have a nice, smooth, continuous arc on the foot surface. Not bumpy or notchy.

              is yours an 88 super e? because they have a completely different cam

                  A new febi cam at rockauto is 125 but they have 2 left to get on it.
