my car was misfiring really bad, pulled off the valve cover and noticed bad wear on my intake cam lobe on cylinder 1. looking for a Camshaft, i dont know if it matters but it is a 885 head. pic is of the damage.

Agreed. New is a good option is your're staying stock.
Check your rocker(s) too though. Don't put a new cam in there with worn rockers.Comment

The foot that rides the cam lobe will likely be warn. They should have a nice, smooth, continuous arc on the foot surface.
