I sell refurbished clusters but not cheap. They are fully refurbished and can be customized. Expensive yes but the alternative would be a brand new unit from BMW dealer. Our clusters have a 3 year warranty.

I can check on this for you -- may have an 87 iS cluster.. no guarantee its a VDO though, and most of my clusters have been sitting on the shelf for 1-4 years.
