WTB: Sport seat slider rails/cheap sport seat

Looking for the two sliders that bolt onto the bottom of a sport seat, since the seat I have doesnt have them. Comfort rails do not swap, I have tried - please only rails which have definitely come off a sport seat.

I will also buy a cheap/beat up sport seat itself if the price is right, as long as the sliders are in good shape I dont care what the rest of the seat looks like - located in MA.

    Rails alone is preferable.

    Thanks!!

I just used comfort rails on a sport seat last week and it worked fine for me. What are you having issues with?

FYI... rails, side mechanisms, and head rests will fit both comfort and sport seats.

I have been told this before, but I can tell you for a fact the seats I am swapping between are not the same. Maybe true for some, which would make a heck of a lot of sense, but mine arent.

The arms that hang down from the front of the seats for the tilt mechanism use different diameter pins between the two seats I have. Neither appears to be modified which is odd. Id rather not attempt to modify it myself and end up with a klugey result that has slop or fits like crap - the little sleeve in the arm doesnt appear to have enough wall thickness to be drilled out bigger for my sport seat pins.

        Super frustrating.

Early seats and late seats are different. Maybe that is the problem. I agree that the comfort and sport parts are interchangeable otherwise.

I have a passenger sport seat that I am robbing parts off of, and could sell you the sliders from. I'll take pictures tonight.

Also have a set of comforts I will be pulling apart as well, so I can compare them as well.

These pics may not show it well, but this is a black sport seat and tan comfort seat side by side. One is a drivers and the other a passenger, but his enough for comparison.

The seat rails are the same in the back from the long bolt that runs all the way across, to the front where they pin to the upright mechanism.

                Hope that helps!

The pins in front on older seats are smaller
........I have some "older style" seat sliders....some are rusty....will check if I can restore a set for you

I am not sure about the sport seat - but the comfort seat in my example is from an 85 318 I parted out - so most definitely early..

Either way - some good info to keep handy.
