WTB in the next month or so...

Getting ready to start buying parts for the winter projects.

    1. SETA pistons - stock, new.

    2. ETA/SETA stock conrods - prefer new.

    3. Piston rings for SETA stock bottom end rebuild - will be going turbo NEXT winter, if that affects the decision.

    4. Really nice 16-17" 4 lug wheels, or parts for a 5 lug swap.

    5. Cardinal vert interior (or non-vert front seats) - pieces or whole.

    6. Nice late model fogs.

    7. New or close to new black convertible top.

I wonder if getting new OEM pistons is much cheaper than buying custom forged pistons?

I have a set of second overbore Original BMW piston rings. I think list on them is about $50/piston. Yours for $200 set.

I'll throw in that diesel crank as well for another $200

SETA pistons - $395 from bav auto exchange, includes rings.

        IE custom pistons - $900+ :)

See above - but that crank sounds perty...good shape?

what rings though... I'd pat attention to that if you plan on turbo'ing later.

Are those used? That's cheap if they're new and expensive if they're used. New from the dealership they are probably crazy expensive, I don't even want to go look.
