On e30's some people use Mercedes w123 foglights as high beams. They're dimmer than the low beams, but for a show car they might be an option for you if they fit.

I like the yellow lights, but I will be buying four new Sylvania h5006 and h5001 sealed beams for the car. These are too dim.
