Are there any b25’s within 500 miles of South Carolina?

My son just bought 2 eta engines and he has an eta in his car (his is our ‘87). He wants to build a fresh stock eta and he (of course) want to build a 2.7i. We’ve looked at local pick a part places (found a blown m50) and came up with nothing.

If anyone has one too many we need the engine, harness, ecu so please, hit me up.

If your building a 2.7I then you'll be using an eta block and you just need an 885 head rather than a whole b25 engine plus the motronoc upgrade. Awdbob has a head for sale at the moment

I have a good running 325i m20b25. It has recently had the belt replaced (preventative maintenance). It’s a solid motor, just waiting for a good reason to swap my s52 into it.
I also have 89+ m20 blocks/engine pieces available.

Thanks for the replies. Jeff, we have two complete b27 engines, so we already have the blocks, crank, rods. I’ve seen m20b25 running but well worn sell for about what the 885 head sells for, so it just seems easier to get the whole engine rather than piece together individual things. I get what you’re saying though, we are going to be pretty slow in this project.
