    325 large output flange driveshaft

In search of another driveshaft with good u-joints. Trans I have is from a 87 325e with the large output flange so the driveshaft would have to work with that.

Let me know what you have!

    Thx!

If you can't find a new driveshaft, you can replace the output flange with a smaller one.

^ this or you can use an E36 328i driveshaft with E30 center support. This is the setup commonly used on 24v swaps but it will work on your large flanged ETA as well. I just swapped my E36 DS with a rebuilt big flange ETA shaft not too long ago. Just make sure it has the right flanges.

Thx for this. Ya my car is s52 swapped with the g260 off the 325e on it. Didn't know you could run a E36 driveshaft with that setup, I thought you could only do that if you were running a ZF trans.

Large flange late model 325e G260 is the exception that is often overlooked as the majority of E30 G260's have small output flanges.

Left is an E36 328i DS with E30 CSB. Right is a late E30 325e big flange driveshaft. They are slightly different but are a direct replacement. There are different E36 DS's though so make sure it's one with the 3 bolt front flange and 4 stud rears.
