Need output shaft for diff or whole diff!

So a few months back i was driving. Pulled up to a red light, when it turned green, i put the car in first, hit the gas and heard a terrible sound.

I looked under the car and my axle had fallen off (drivers side). The bolts looked to have worked loose from the diff and the axle basically fell out of the diff. Had the car towed home, got new bolts since most were missing, and attempted to reinstall. Three bolts went in fine while three would not catch on the threads. I can only assume the threads are damaged and they can’t be tightened.

Now, for the repair, I’ve been told the output shaft is what the axle bolts into and it’s relatively easy to remove with a pry bar. I need a drivers side output shaft with good threads to replace mine with OR a replacement diff which I’d rather not do... i called an e30 shop nearby and they quoted 2-3 hours labor for r&r on the shaft at $145/hr?!

If your car has a medium case diff then I have some flanges for you. If your car has a small case diff then you will need small flanges. The eBay one is from an e36 and is not for your car. You have to tell us the year and model of your car to get the right ones. Pm me if you still need!
The difference between porcupines and BMWs is that porcupines have the pricks on the outside!
