i just got the sony ericcson w850i ... which is the step up model from that 1...... got it in flushing and talked him down to 150 for the 850... but the 810 will cost about 50 bucks with a plan. shop around in flushing, queens.

i want one of these too... i've been watching the prices drop for the last few months.

I've been watching prices at a few online stores for the unlocked unbranded w810i - should be usable on any GSM network. apparently there's a lot of features that get shut off when the phone gets branded as Cingular

Yes you can, do what fretburnr said. You just need to get an unlocked one off of ebay, any GSM phone will work as long as it's unlocked.

it has a 3.2 mp camera.

go look at reviews for them, it's amazing.
