      I am looking for used:

-Calipers- Good or bad (I can rebuild them)
      -E32 750 Master Cylinder
-Do I really need the pad wear sensor????????
      -Front and rear swaybar
-Front control arm assemblies and rear trailing arm assemblies

I dont think I am forgeting anything.......

        You do not need:
front and rear sway bar (same just a little different size. better to go aftermarket imho)
front control arm assemblies (control arms and tie rods are the exact same too)

        Want but dont need:
e32 750 master cyl (nice upgrade, but not necassary. my stock one is just dandy. brakes pretty quick/hard :) )
rear trailing arm assemblies (there are easier and less expensive ways to do this, I can count 3)
Pad wear sensor (use the e30 m3 one)

        Will need:
        Calipers front and rear
All the items you listed you plan to buy new

          Thanks mang.

So I dont need the entire front control arm assembly? What do I need then for the front?

I intend on doing the master cylinder upgrade just because.
I dont think I will use the pad wear sensor.
What should I do in the rear that you are sugesting?

In the rear, you can just get M3 hubs. The TAs are essentially the same.

Yeah, but I was told unless you have a press for the lolipop bushings, it is just easier to replace the whole damn thing.

Is this really that hard to replace those? Doesnt Treehouseracing have some kind of bushing that makes this easier?

is it an e30 m3 swap or e36? I am not really interested in the e36.

I would rather pay more and have it done right.

Both methods are essentially done right, but one is just simpler than the other. e36 suspension has its benefits as well although the caster is off.

The steering rack is a nice upgrade too. If you happen to find someone parting an e30 M3, just get it all. My list was something like this:

New: rotors/pads/sensors/rear hubs & wheel bearings/caliper rebuild kit x4/sway bar links x4/ oem m3 offset CABs

                        Used: front struts/calipers

Unnecessary but while i was at it: steering rack, sway bars, differential/750 mc

I did alot of preventative maintenance such as bushings and rebuilding the calipers. You might as well replace as much as you can while its apart so you dont have to mess with it for a while.

which to me, means that it is not done right. Not to mention that your offset will be not be equal even if you use ti parts in the rear.

^ I feel the same way!

Thanks for the list. Yes, I had planned to either do an e36 or e30 m3 rack swap. What diff would you upgrade to? The 91' 318is I am having looked at had a 4.10 (small case I am guessing?)

Yeah the m42s have small cases but limited slip was an option. Small case ls diffs are hard to come by so its easer to pick up a 4.10 out of a 325 or M.

hmm... well how do I tell if this car has a LSD?

                              Bump, who else has parts?
