Joe, E30s do not have such a thing as a keyless loom.

Easy install otherwise though. 2 diodes, 2 relays, every wire you need is in the underdash except for the lock module under the left front speaker.

Horn honk is an absolute bitch in an E30 though. I did mine in the fuseblock, using the trigger wire of the relay after making the horn be constant powered, not ignition powered. I ran the wires into the fuseblock through the harness under the fuseblock...pain in the ass, trust me.

        keyless

What I'm looking for is the (6) wire plug/loom and whatever else that plugs into the receivers backside. Mines a 88'is and I've seen them on the 90'-91' cars that have come into my shop. I know they are installed at the dealer level (so it can't be too hard) as an up sale option. Since it was dealer installed ,that's why info 19years later is hard to come by. I've read your threads and I know you've got this stuff wired ,no joke, wired! I've got all the parts ,just need THAT LOOM and a little direction. Any help?? joe

Joe, I am telling you right now...I absolutely guarantee that no E30 EVER came from Germany with any such thing...ever.

What you might have seen is something installed at the port of entry, or at the dealer, but not from BMW.

But seriously man, it is not that tough. Pull the underdash, pull the left speaker, and get to wiring!

Quick add, maybe you are thinking of E36? Lots of those have the pre-wired alarm option...in fact, most did.

              wiring

Thanks, I understand about non-factory installed. This option was installed at the dealer level in aprox 88'-91' cars. I've got the OEM ,reciever, remotes (2), and matching chips. But what I don't have is the gang plug to reciever (plug w/6 wires) and where these wires go. I have seen this OE option on several of my customer (e30) when in for service. At a glance above the radio is a LED lite located in blank plugs. That's all that I can remember this early with only one cup in me.Have'n worked at the dealers level before, we'd toss install instructions after jobs done. This being a dealer level installed option is most likley why I can't find wiring diagrams. Wo, this got really long, no other way, any insite or help ? thanks,
              joe
