WTB: IX Front Axle Assemblies

I am in need of two front axle assemblies for my '88 IX. Both boots are total gone and it makes a rumbling noise while driving already checked the wheel bearings so it seems to me that the CV joints are gone. So anyone got any or now of anyone getting rid of some?

IX axles idea

I dont know how bad it is with your axles, but I have had success with both sets of mine by sending them out to a local shop which refurbished them for $50 per . Before you pay a ton for units from some ones back up supply, try a rebuild. If you want my local shops #s I will provide. I know they take and make shipments.

idk about that. if i send them to get the redone is it a for sure thing there going to be good or are you still taking a chance. I dont know what is all involved with what they do to them. Do them inspect them and can tell if they can be rebuilt or not or what?

I've seriously had at least 5 people ask me about front axles since january - good luck finding them, nobody wants to sell them and they are expensive new. I have a spare set, but there is no way I'd sell them given I'm planning on tracking my car more.
