Window regulator/motor, driver side rear, early model

Looking for a good working drivers side rear window regulator and motor for a 4 door early model. Needs to be the cable type, not the scissor type.

    Thanks.

I will sell you the one out of my 89. I don't know how early it has to be but it is indeed the cable type. $25 shipped.

Is it the motor and the regulator? If so, I'll take them. Can you send me pics just to verify it's the same part? In the meantime I'll verify that the part numbers are the same.

      Thanks.

Yeah, that's the wrong one. Thanks anyway.

By "cable type" I mean the toothed cable that runs through the metal tube, in a big "N" shape.

Come to think of it, I don't think I've ever seen any e30 with a regulator like the one pictured...

Ahhh, the late models have different designs for front and rear:

I see what you mean. In looking that this, I am wondering if you could retrofit the newer assembly into the older car if you also used the newer glass and harness. It seems like the motor itself sits in the exact same position but the holes for the top and bottom of the newer assembly might not be there.

The same thing crossed my mind. But if that's the case, I'll pull what I need from my 89 parts car. I'll take both door panels off and see if it looks possible sometime soon...

But in the mean time, I'll still take a early model regulator and motor if someone has them.

Cool, let me know. If it's pre-88, it will be what I need.

Well, that's a good deal, but that's the last thing I need. I already have too many parts (3 parts cars).

                              Just the regulator/motor will do.
