i need a 260 without the metal plate linkage. if yours has the newer style please let me know, i can always swap the output flange

I'm not much good at telling the 2 apart without having them side by side, so here's a couple of pics:





BTW, I still want that driveshaft. Maybe we can do some kind of trade + some cash arrangement? I can bring it to you, and pick up the driveshaft, save us both the hassle of shipping.

The cars 86-87ish cars I believe are interchangeable, as both the holes are drilled for the early style shifter and they have the mounting ears for the later style shifter. I think they all have the holes for the early style shifter, they just aren't threaded on the later tranny's.

The one in that pic is definitely set up for both shifters.
