    SoCal: 3.25 or similar open diff?

    Just looking to see if anyone has a 3.25, or that funky 3.15 in that range for my eta. Id like to lower the gearing a tad, 3.73 is a bit steep for an eta it seems.

    Id like it to be cheap, as its an open diff... but if you have a LSD youd be willing to let go cheap, that works as well...

    If not, either my 2.93 or short gears with the 3.73

    Thanks

    Stephen

          I've been looking for a while. Our bumperless acquaintance in SF is selling one, but he wants $300 for it.

          Best bet is to go to a junkyard and check out the E28's and E24's.

              Stephen I'll let you try my old open 4.10 when you get home, to see if you'll like it. Only has like 102k on it with good fluid, if you like it I'll give it to you for like $40.

                          because 29mpg is badass. I actually don't hate the 2.93, its hust a little extreme

                              HI, as said before I have an open 3.25 for 60 plus shipping.

                              with the e28

                              528e = 2.93
                              535i/is = 3.25

                              getting the LSD was an option on either, but more common on the 535i/is
