    If you infact know its good that would be great. But I wrather look on here before I hit the junkyard if you guys have a decent head.

    i know someone that just picked up a rebuilt one off ebay for $75 shipped. i would check around on there too if people are pretty much giving them away.

          Hate to ask but why do you need a head? And any updates on the 89? have any pics!

            Have you ofound a head yet?? I have one I removed from my 92 Cabrio after it got rear-ended. I'd sell it for $250 + Shipping.

                  If that falls through talk to mossman on here, he has a good deal on a good condition head. I was going to pick it up until I decided to go 24v.

                    I, apparently didn't do the timing belt right and it fuckn snapped two rockers and cracked the retaining structure for the cam in the head.

                    I called matt and armen at TNG to see which step I had missed and the only thing we can come up with is that the tensioner adj bolt was looser than the pivot point stud... so when the motor put tension on it it just gave and boom... kataklism of dumbness... it was only on start up so im hoping the piston and wall are in best of shape.. FUCK!

                    250 shipped is kinds high to guys drivnvordaedge is selling me his rebuilt head with gaskets and new head bolts for 275.
