Yo R3V-
Figured I'd post this up on here too, for kicks.

The time has finally come to list my beloved unicorn. This vehicle is a factory sports trim, factory manual, clean title, no rust example. The vehicle has been rebuilt to what I would consider an OEM+ spec, without any sacrifice to reliability.
I have owned this vehicle since 2014 and it has served me very well, and will be sad to see it go. I took the car off the road in 2021 to do a full engine, clutch, turbo, and suspension rebuild, and during that time replaced it with a larger SUV due to a towing need.
It has 182xxx on the chassis- I have owned it since 110K. I have a highly detailed maintenance log of all the work performed during my ownership that I will link below.
Maintenance Log/Description:
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1...it?usp=sharing
The body is in good shape, with various dings, dents and paint chips from being my daily driver for almost a decade. Front and rear bumpers are scratched. Front from normal use, rear from loading things in and out of the trunk. The car wears all original Subaru paint. All body panel VINs match outside of the passenger front. I was backed into in a parking lot at low speed, so I found an OEM takeoff fender so it would be a perfect paint match. No further damage resulted from the accident.
In 2021 the car developed a small internal head gasket leak, so I took it off the road and gave the car a major overhaul. The parts used were of high quality, and there was ZERO intention for adding power, only reliability and longevity. The only "mods" the car has were installed as a repair for OEM components that weren't logical to replace with OEM stuff (catted downpipe, TMIC, shifter/bushings, up pipe, etc). The car was never modified to increase power, or driven as such.
If you don't wrench on your car yourself, then you may not be aware that these DOHC Turbo Subarus can be very maintenance heavy if you are purchasing one that hasn't been extensively gone through. I spent so much time and money buying OEM components/hoses/etc for the engine reassembly process. Any vacuum/pcv/coolant hose that felt even remotely hard was replaced with Genuine Subaru Parts. Things like bolts, gaskets, etc for the engine were all purchased from Subaru.
The recent overhaul consisted of (a far more detailed list is available in Google Doc linked above):
-New engine (rebuilt OEM specs top to bottom by Kevin @Head Solutions, using only OEM components)
-New Turbo CHRA (Mellett, high quality)
-New Clutch (LUK, German company, high quality)
-New suspension (Forester Specific Swift Springs, KYB GR-2 Struts, STI aluminum control arms, bushings, etc etc).
-Freshly Powdercoated Wheels/New Pirelli Tires
-Johnson Tuning OTS Map made for reliability for current setup (no added power requested)
This car has been a part of my life for quite some time, and affectionately goes by "Sam". If you have any further questions feel free to message me.
