Escort "Passport 8500" Radar Detector

I'm selling my used Escort Passport 8500 Radar Detector.

It works perfectly, but I have to sell it due to some unexpected expenses.

There are some scratches on the top of the unit due to being dropped, but it does not affect the unit's ability to pick up signals. It saved me from blowing by a couple police officers a couple weekends ago when I was driving to and from Bimmerfest.

I will include everything you need to get the radar attached to your car and working properly. The radar detector itself, the power coil, windshield harness, and two sets of suction cups.

The Passport 8500 is a great radar, it's worked perfectly for me. It's not as advanced as the $400+ Valentine 1 or the new Passport 9500 radars, but for the money, you can't go wrong with this one. It picks up signals pretty far down the road so you have enough time to slow down. The only thing I wish it had was the arrows, like on the V1, but I wasn't going to pay the money for that.
I know most people prefer the V1, but I have a few friends who swear by the Passport.

The revision simply put is the software version the unit is running. On the bottom of the unit, there should be a series of numbers below where it was made.

The numbers on the bottom of the unit read: S/N 2EZ1953136
But I have no idea what that corresponds to.

I talked to my friend who I got this from, and he said he bought it after he got his license when he turned 16, so that would mean he would have bought the radar sometime between December 2005 and February/March 2006. Unfortunately he only gave me the unit, power coil, windshield mount, and the suction cups when I got it form him. He threw away any receipts and the box, so this is all the information I have.

Nope, those are the only numbers on the entire unit.
