Yes I said potato guns :). Ive been making them for about 5 years now. Ive made barrel sizes from 3/4in all the way to 5 inchers. All the ones I make use hairspray, lysol, any flamable spray thing really. Hairspray tends to work the best.
Im selling these to earn some money while at college, anything helps really, and Im good at making these so I figured it couldnt hurt to try.
I don't like to use BBQ starters because in my experience they arent very reliable...I cant tell you what I use because its my buddy's and my secret, but I assure its very reliable :)
The 2-3in barrel one is my favorite, it launches normal sized fruit (apples, oranges, lemons) around 2-300 yards continuously. Our record was shooting a lemon straight up around 90ish degrees and we got a 13 second hang time. Juicy fruit tend to work the best because their juices "lube up" the barrel and dont get alot of friction.
First one we made, still have it too. 2inch barrel about 5 feet tall. We cut it to 4 feet because 5 feet was too lengthy and 4 feet is easier to work with by yourself.

This is a pretty normal sized one, 2in diameter barrel about 4 feet tall.
I figure 50 shipped for a little one (shoots grapes and berries real hard),
60 shipped for a medium size, 2-3incher,(tennis balls, potatos, apples, etc)
and 70 shipped for a 4-5incher(melons, pumpkin insides, etc) Ill throw in a can of our favorite hairspray with purchase.
What I mean by those sizes are the barrel diameter. They are usually around 3-4 feet tall+the one foot chamber.
