I need some spring compressors for cheap, mostly because I´m going to use them only once, after I replace my springs (that I already have) I won´t need them anymore. If someone has a set of them they don´t need it would be nice. Keep in mind Harbor Freight sells the set (brand new) for $30 or so, so obviously I won´t pay that for shipping + handling for used ones. Say what you will about cheapo Harbor freight tools from china, but these are not for a pro suspension shop but for one-time use. If no one chimes in in a few days, I´ll just buy them. After I´m done with them, I´ll post them up for sale for, let´s say, half of what I pay, plus shipping, which shouldn´t be more than $10.

I have these and have used them 5 or six times and they're starting to bend, but you can't beat the price and I'm pretty sure they'll swap them out under warranty if you're rough on them.Comment

does it qualify as a hand tool? HF has a lifetime warranty on hand tools

I do not recommend using an impact gun with spring compressors. I broke one of mine doing that just the other day. The spring pulled on it at a weird angle causing the nut to bind a bit and the impact just cross-threaded the shit out of it. So much so I tried spinning it off with a breaker bar and instead just twisted the threaded rod. Hence why I was looking at HF for new ones. :curse:Comment
