FS: Roy Duck-1 selvedge canvas SOLD

    SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD

*Denim comes in two types: Sanforized, and that which has not (or “Unsanforized denim”). Unsanforized is rough raw denim that will shrink a few inches when it is first soaked, hence some aptly-named "Shrink-To-Fit" denim. Sanforized denim shrinks is generally considered to be “pre-shrunk”, and therefore does not need to be sized up or down accordingly.

They have seen one soak to remove future shrinkage, current size measurements are below:

    Size:
Waist: Marked '36' true measurements: 38" (19" laid flat)
Inseam: 38 before washing(roughly 35" now) ZERO flaws. I am only selling to buy a pair of Railcars.

Looking for rare selvedge? here is some that almost never come up(ask me how I know)

*Never a dull moment with Roy Slaper. The man lives for finding excitement in the most minute details of a garment. With this new release he set out to made a 5-pocket jean out of an unsanforized duck canvas fabric. This is a similar material to what he's used in the past except this time the fabric is unsanforized and therefore will shrink like an unsanforized denim jean. We believe this is the first time in over 75 years that anybody has worked with an unsanforized duck. You may wonder as to why would you want your duck canvas pant to be unsanforized? Because it will not only fit better but it will also age better over time because the fabric hasn't gone through the sanforization process which flattens and (in our opinion) destroys a lot of the character contained within the fabric.

In addition to the beautiful fabric the jean comes with belt loops made on a 1920's Union Special beltloop making machine, so the loops are a narrow width, like how they used to be in the early 20th century. The pocket bags are made of a heavy 9oz greige cotton fabric and all the pockets (including the coin pocket) are full lined with the same fabric. He's done something very unique with the way the inseam is stitched, the selvedge ID is folded over to one side and single needle stitched down the leg. The high-wear point of the front pockets is lined with duck and detailed in a very unique way. Also, this is the first pant Roy has done where many points are triple-needle stitched for durability. There are quite a few more details to list, but those are best found by the owner.

Retail was 345.00+shipping/tax These sold out so fast, the going price is normally higher than retail due to the rare nature.

    SOLD

Yes they are, but they are not typical pants. Think if it as artwork, the skill he puts into each pair is amazing. They sold out of every pair in under a month. I have yet to post them on rawr denim's forums, so they have just been lingering here.

This is high midrange for the denim market. There is pairs that go for 500 all day, I could never bring myself to spend that much. I choked hard to buy these.

They do not stink, I think it is due to being around leather all day(I smell like fresh leather). I also hang them outside at night to freeze

When was last time these jeans were washed ?

They got a soak after 3 wears(woolite soap), then I wore them once to dinner. I have been wearing my Gustins and Arizona in rotation, so I am just looking to sell them for a pair of railcar denim. I bought these because of the selvedge canvas, but I am too rough on my jeans and I would fear to ruin these. I have too many nice pairs already and do not need these. I do not NEED to sell, but I posted anyways. I did not expect anyone on here to even think about buying them. It is just an easy place to post for people that google search for them.
