actually am planning on putting something like that in the painting. i have come to notice that right now it has no real subject, or anything to focus on.

Constructive criticism: The angles the branches make are too sharp for me. I would want my nature painting to be a little more organic and have more curved lines. I could say some other things, but it mostly boils down to preference.

I like it - I don't think you need a well defined subject, the semi-surreal landscape works on its own. I would bid, but the colors don't really match the decor in my house. I'll forward it on to my bro, though - he's always interested in buying art. Good luck, and keep painting!

actually, the bidding ended, no one bought it. I am going to add a little to the painting, like a subject, and then re-list it, so stay tuned!

Ha. I just read the ebay listing and you can leave out the part about the "no frame necessary". Just put down that it's on canvas. I don't do a lot of canvas paintings but i'm pretty sure they are usually stretched over a wood frame.

No matter what people say KEEP PAINTING! It doesn't have to be good. As long as you enjoi it others will.
