Headset communicator

Used headset communicator, $35 works good for what it is, I used this while instructing at DE events...

How does it work? Is it a direct connection between driver and passenger? And do you have to have an open face helmet?

Direct connection between driver and passenger, I have a full face but my students have had open face and it worked ok. You tuck the ear piece between your ear and the helmet, I did have mine routed behind the foam in my helmet so I would't have to slip it in each time...

During my last HPDE, my instructor for the day had the exact same thing. Definately nice to have.....sure beats shouting through closed face helmets. The audio quality was good too.

An American instructor to boot...don't tell Clarkson(Mr Green teeth)....he thinks we are all fat and stupid...

Thanks for the bump, if you are going to instruct or be a student these are really nice, beats hand signals and yelling. The group I instruct for (nasaproracing.com) asks instructors to purchase a headset.
