          Doesn't matter if its registered.

If you want to purchase the firearm. You must go to your local gun seller, range (whom sells guns), or find a local person who has his/her license to sell firearms. He/she will usually charge you 20-40 to have it sent to them. The purchaser will go there when it arrives, and the middle man will transfer it into the new owners name.

To ship a firearm you must have a piece of paper (fax, email usually) that shows that whom you are sending it to has agreed upon it or contact your local fedex/ups and see what they say. I would stay away from USPS (gov. land and firearms do NOT mix). OR ask (buyer), your local gun shop to see who they recommend or if they can ship it out for you for a small fee. Gun guys usually help other gun guys out

*Are you only referring to sales across state lines? If so then your info is coooorect.

Wrong, I could walk across the street and buy a gun from my neighbor turn around and walk over to another neighbor and sell it to him and he in turn could sell it to whomever he pleased and on and on and on. Although maybe the state you live in has different rules.

Well, posterity, you will never know what it cost us to preserve your freedom. I only hope that you will make a good use of it. If you do not, I shall repent in heaven that I ever took half the pains to preserve it.

Just check the individual state gun laws. West Virginia has no regsistry, and you can sell to an individual with out any paper work, as long as the person purchasing is legally allowed to own a gun, which is unconstitutional, but law makers don't seem to comprehend "shall not be infringed..." Nice gun though, my carry gun is a full frame XD .45acp, love it.

.40 are my favorite. 9mm is a pee shooter, you dont even feel it firing.

springfield is the way to go, these guns are beast!

I believe, at least in Wisconsin, a private seller can sell a gun to a private buyer within the state without any paperwork or FFL. If going across state lines you need somebody with an FFL to transfer the firearm.

Sounds like you're a gun expert... I find it to be a good thing not to "feel it" when shooting a gun. Hence the purpose of compensated barrels, recoil reducers built into stocks, and the fact that many smaller guns actually have a lot more snap. Take my Browning BDA .380, you'd call that some sort of waffleswaffleswaffleswaffleswaffles gun I'm sure right? That little guns has more bite than my Colt 1911 .45acp. Remember that a larger gun will absorb a lot of the recoil. My .357magnum? Smoooth. Let me shoot you with a 9mm JHP and see how you're feeling.

By they way my main gun is a Walther P99 .40cal sooo I do love that gun and have the most ammo in .40cal.

The point of these post? I dunno, I'm just being an ass :puppy:

in NJ all firearms transfers have to go though a FFL or the local police station

NJ is one of the worst states around.
