Race kit. I have a template that Emilio used to have on his site that shows the inner profile of the wheel. I just looked at it again, and the spokes clear before the barrel. The barrel remains pretty tight even with a 25mm spacer.
I have a set of Kazeras that will clear the brakes with no spacers. So I can take some time and find 8s that fit. Without the brake issue, I'd say there's a 99% chance I'd run the 6ULs. Even with the price of the spacers, they're a fair deal for a very well made wheel.
