    Mythical Creatures: BBS RS [4x100] & [17x8.5"]

    This is some unicorn stuff right here:

    I know it's a feeler.... But for only the ballsiest of ballers- I am able to make a set of 4x100, dish'ed, BBS RSs.

    Specs:

    * 17x8.5
    * 4x100 (redrill from 4x114.3)
    * ET13
    * Flat backs
    * 2" lips
    * Media blasted centers, Powder coated super reflective wheel silver
    * Mirror polished lips
    * Chrome powdercoated bolts
    * Painted black barrels
    * Polished flat caps
    * Includes valvestems

    Price: $3500

    [yes, I absolutely know this is a hefty amount, but it involves sourcing, frankenstein'ing and refinishing two pretty rare sets of wheels into one ungodly monster that doesn't involve the need for a 5 lug swap, adapters, and gets you world-famous status in the wheel-geek circle. Poon potential is infinite too. Serious candidates feel free to PM me]

    Would look like this:

        I'm on board minus the price of redrill and powdercoat. LMK.

        Every day I wake up we drink a lot of coffee and watch the CNN
        Every day I wake up to a bowl of clover honey and let the locusts fly in.
        Lobsterbacks attack the town again
        Wrap all my things in aluminum

        Every time I open my windows cranes fly in to terrorize me.

              It's something like 63mm? The setup would require hub centric rings, and possibly tuner lugs.

              The setup is hypothetical at the moment, but I can make it happen. Lead time would probably be something like a month, with getting the donors from Japan, redrilling and refurb'ing involved. I guess I'll let this thread simmer for a bit and gouge interest.

              Despite the hefty tag.... In the grand scope of things, this would still be about a grand cheaper than sourcing a full 5 lug swap & some RS212/198s (assuming avg. rate).

                      Okay, I found 16"s just now (ugh, should be studying).

                      Is my goal/ price too far fetched? Is 17x8.5" too far fetched of a combo to even consider? My claim for being the only set in the world isn't an exaggeration.

                              What's mythical about them? your redrilling them. If you take a set of RS198's and slap any 16" 4x114.3 centers redrilled to 4x100 you get what you are offering. You can also take rs178 barrells with the 16" redrilled center and brand new 2" lips from Hoffman or Felgen Garage and have the same thing for about $2k.
