Looks like the centers were originally anodized? Interesting, I had always thought they were painted for some reason. These are just awesome period correct badassedness.

Yes agree! The corrosion was so caked on for 20+ years. Just added another 5 hours to the cleaning/polishing. FML

I don't know know about fml, that's a pretty good margin. Id also try to sell them on mye28.com, the old codgers there might like them. Fwiw you made those look really good.

These are the "American Alpinas". The design is similar to the one Alpina used in the 70s. H&B still makes these, by the way, might be interesting to see what they want per new wheel in that configuration.
