WTB: Set 16" Alpina, 16x7/8, 4x100

As the titles says, looking for a set of 4x100 Alpinas in 16 inch.

Naturally want staggered, and will try and hold out.
If nothing pops up, will do a square 7" set.

I don't have a problem paying for a nice set, will be picky, and don't mind waiting for the right set to come along.

Must be willing to ship if not in Los Angeles.

No Kopi or anything like that, and not interested in a rough/bent set unless they are cheap.

A nice set of Alpina Staggered is North of 3K this days, and that is you can find a set.

Not really, I had someone offer me a staggered set for $2450 last month, but they did not address the nicks before powder coat, and the color was a little off, so I passed.

So, still looking.

Alpina 16's

I have a very interesting set that I'm not going to use, and I'm trying to sort out how to best market the set.

I believe I have #4 of the 16x8, and one 16x7 for the spare. I may have only 3 caps and two locks.

I collected these slowly over the past 10 years knowing that I could always pick up another narrow one if I had to run a stagger, and not 8's all around.

After a session of cleaning up the original rims, for my Z1, I've decided I'm not going to use the Alpinas after all.

So, now the question is, get all 5 refinished, buy the cap and locks needed for a complete set of 4, and sell 5 together, or start parting it out as pairs of 8x2 and a leftover 7.

These are in Chicago, if anyone wants to come and look, let me know.

Ugh, I just picked my staggered set up from pre-paint prep on Monday and ordered the locks etc. from Mel as well. Had I seen your post before I ordered the accessories, I probably would have bailed out on my resto, it's getting expensive and I still have to paint them. Good luck!
