    FS: 17X7 BBS RC Silver ET42 $550

I picked these wheels up with the intention putting them on my 325i but I am really stretching myself thin with the Porsche and the BMW both needing taking care of at the same time. If they don't sell its not a big deal, but if they do then great.

I found these on Craigslist and drove to look at them. They were from an Acura Integra. I had been looking for wheels and RC's are by far one of my favorite. I bought them about two weeks ago and have been just hanging on to them. They need tires which adds another $500 or more to my cost on top of the wheels which would put my investment into them at about $1200 right now, which is really not in the plans. There are tires currently on them, two could be driven on and two have to be replaced. All tires need replacing, but some have to be replaced. I am going to look, but I do think I have some R-Compounds in 215/45/17 that I might be willing to include for the right price. These were my street wheels so I didn't want to run R-Compounds.

Specs - 17X7 BBS RC035 ET42 Brilliant Silver. Inner bore is ~60mm, 56.1mm with the current hubcentric rings that are installed. BBS offers the correct 57.1mm hubcentric rings for these wheels for the BMW. Two of the wheels are in 8.5/10 condition, no curbing, all true and straight. Two of the wheels have paint chipping off of them and would need to be refinished for the pickies of people. Locally I can have them painted for $81.38/each and powder coated for $112.36/each.

Asking $500 shipped or $400 picked up. Shipping is available, pickup is prefered. The wheels are at my parents house and I will have them in my hands for pictures of Friday. Will deliver to most places in North Carolina in exchange for premium beer (St. Paulies Girl, Purple Haze, Samuel Adams Boston Lager or any of the select seasonal beers, or possibly some others).

Shipping will be $30.06 per box without tires, and $52.80 with tires to area code 97229. That would bring your shipping total to $120.24 without tires (which I would have removed for free), and $211.20 with the tires. Feel free to PM me an offer on the wheels...shipping is on you but we can discuss the price of the wheels to fit within your budget better.

Not that I know of. All BBS's are made in the factory in Germany.

oh cause, the symbol on the left side of the wheel above the 01 is a japaneese stamp of safety. approving it for road use in japan where it was manufactured. if it was german it would have a TUV stamp on it. loooks like they might be a knock off, which also might be why the finish is flaking already.

I have had about a dozen pairs of BBS wheels over the years, and they all have that marking. I think you are mistaken about the marking. It probably certifies it for road use in Japan. Every pair of BBS's I have ever had have that. I think stock BMW basketweaves have it as well. They are genuine. The finish is peeling because the PO constantly used an acidic based cleaner, which he showed me.

Another BBS wheel. I have about a dozen more pictures, so either every pair of BBS's are fake, or its the case that the marking in question has no relation to where it was manufactured.

All BBS forged wheels are produced in Japan by Washi Beam, a partner company to BBS Germany. All of public-offered forged BBS wheels, along with the F1, ALMS, Indy, and other professional racing wheels, are produced in Japan by this independent company.
