So, let me get something straight, you have the 4 x 100, but what about the centerbore? Would I need a centering ring to match my bore up right?

LOL! yeah, many sets have been sold to Hondas already and it saddens me, but at least there were plenty of the 16 inch wheels that were sold to e30s like KBBMW's red euro bumper e30 seen on r3v

I recommend you put hub centric rings on the wheels; I always put hub centric rings whenever the centerbore of a wheel is larger than the e30 hub centerbore

I was reading someone else's thread and it said that these wheels don't clear the caliper without a spacer. Can you confirm this? I'm interested in a set as soon as I unload my wheels

How exactly do you redrill a 4x114 wheel to 4x100 and only have one set of holes on the rim?

Nevermind, I see they put inserts in the holes...

confirmed. apparently, these wheels fit 87 and below without spacers in the front while 88-91 will need at least a 3-5mm spacer to clear the caliper. i only test fitted these on my 87 and it fit without spacers. i sold a set of black ones to boostedc2 here in socal and when he tried them on his 91, the fronts didn't clear, but when he tried them on his 87, it cleared

Unfortunately, when i tried them on my 87 it did fit. But when i did more research as far as part #'s, everything was the same for both years. The brakes on my 87 are almost in need of changing, hence they are smaller and the caliper doesnt stick out so much. whereas with my 89, my brakes are new and the calipers stick out more than ones that need to be changed.

that's weird because i have brand new drilled/slotted brake rotors and ceramic pads in my 87 from r1concept in oc which was installed by pe2one in his garage a couple of months ago and the wheels fit without spacers; it actually fitted like a glove, so with this in mind, i assumed that it would fit all e30s without spacers, but apparently you will need at least a 3-5mm spacer in the front to clear the caliper according to the experience you have shared with us...

by the way, how was wheeladapter.com in canoga park...? did you get a quote from them yet? one of my homies bought custom adapters and hub centric spacers from this dude years ago and he still has them on his car. they make quality adapters and spacers if you want to do it the right way... what about STATUS in hermosa beach...? how much are they charging? I haven't bought any from STATUS yet, but they are known by fixing up luxurious cars and carries quality parts

I would jump on a set, but I'm weary of the drilling. It makes the wheel weak on the center bore. I called around and no one recommended doing this. Can you tell us where you got the drilling done at?

It was done by a local pro-wheels and tires shop in Norwalk, CA who also manufactures wheels for vehicles in general such as trucks, cars, and bikes whether it is aftermarket or stock. We have taken many wheels to them and had no complaints. One of the members here in R3V is sporting a 3piece 5 spoke ARE wheels sized 16x7 on his bronzit and those wheels have been taken to the same shop for drilling.

                                check it out, http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/show...bronzit+wheels

i got the same wheels, but 16x8 all around and they are drilled to fit 4x100, :D
