To be honest, I actually don't know what they are, but from *that* picture I can't see how they differ from real RGRs. I originally thought they were ASA AR1s which *are* advertised as RGR reps, and I've been trying to find an AR1 pic to shove back at you, but they are not. ASA ones have fake bolts, an inset bolt circle and do indeed look tacky. These ones the miata, however, are much better of a rep of the RGRs, from that picture.
If you know them to be something else other than ASA AR1s, please edumacate.
You are retarted. Here, Shove this in JA's face.
ASA AR1s.
BBS RGR
Some shitty ass wheels that we have never seen, and frankly look like a bad knock off of a knockoff of a knock off.
Start the throwing any time.
PS,
I am glad you think they look tacky. I take it as a compliment from you considering your taste in RGR reps....
What rims are you rolling on BTW?Last edited by delatlanta1281; 02-16-2009, 03:33 PM.Yours truly,

Dear ASA fan boi:
I thought this was over? Was I wrong about the imitation bolts? Perhaps prove yourself by taking your bolts out and put the now detached lip around your neck and take a pic?
I did state that my impression of the rims on the miata are purely from *that* picture alone. I'll be the first to denounce them if they infact do look crappy. The ASAs I've seen many, on cars and on screen. In short, neither of us know about these miata rims, and we hold polar opinions about these ASAs, what's the big deal?
If you must ask, I run Borbet As. There are 5 bolts on each rim. 4 for the lugs, and 1 for the flat caps. You know what they look like I am sure.
There is another thread about these rims. Let’s get this back on topic please.Last edited by WhatWentWong; 02-16-2009, 04:23 PM.Comment

I can't wait for my set. I should be whoring them by Wednesday. I nearly shot a load when i saw some of the wheels they were working on. I wanted to snap some pics but thought it might look suspicious. Any who i'll be sure to post a vid of me going through one of the worst alleys in so cal (assuming they have not fixed it yet) as fast as i can without cracking my oil pan.Comment

They are done bitches. Good news and bad. They look sweet and they filled in all the original lug holes. They also counter drilled the wheels to even out the weight from the unfilled wholes between the original lug holes. Took almost no wheel weights to balance these suckers out. Now the bad news. They won't clear the front brakes due to the dimensions and curvature of the inside of the wheel. Looks like a 3mm spacer should do the trick though. I'm considering having custom hubcentric 5mm spacers made. 57.1 inner bore and 72.62 outer bore (stock bore is 72.56.) They cost $20 each to have made. I'll take some real pictures after i get the fronts on. They quoted me an extra $300 for nagaro centers and polished lips. They also can make custom 2 or 3 piece forged wheels for $400-600 a wheel. You pick a style and they CNC machine the center to your specs. I'm thinking of picking up a set of cheap 5x120 BBS rs wheels and having them make me some new centers, re polishing the lips, and plate the bolts. That should significantly reduce my cost.
