thank you for your comment, atleast someone in this thread has some simple common sense, and not making a huge fuss about a centre bore (machine it if its to small or add rings if its to big), i posted these on here because of the nice low offset (et18), personally i would rather have redrilled proper offset wheels than have high offset wheels with spacers.. ideally have the perfect rim but that doesn't happen often (RS001 or RS003)

how did i clearly demonstrate that i don't know what a wheel requires to fit? did i even mention centre bore? do i have to hold you by your hand and explain every detail? should i tell you what tire size to purchase to fit the vehicle? how much to inflate the tire? how much torque and which lug bolts are required? My fellow Canuck.

You have exhibited very clearly that you had absolutely no idea of what a wheel requires to fit. You pretty clearly demonstrated you didn't know that a wheel must have the same center bore as the hub it goes on or it will vibrate.

You simply say that a simple "edrilling" is needed to make your lousy JApanese spec wheels fit a BMW. Yeah Sure.

Keep of the board and aim to any VW or Honda forum where people have about the same expertise as you do. That will be an easy sale.

and how can you say my wheels are lousy?

your attitude is extremely childish, someone that has been on these boards as long as you have should have a little more respect for others. if there was any questions i did not answer in my original post you could have asked me instead of trying to be a smartass and come up with stupid scenarios.

i've been changing/purchasing wheels for my e30 for more than 10 years, i know a little bit about offsets and centre bores and know even more about how hard it is to find a wheel that fits and looks good on an e30.

if you don't like them, don't bother posting, and if you feel that you are helping other buyers, you are not, saying that the wheels will require hub rings or machining is helping others.Comment

i meant rings, not spacers. my apologies. either way paying 1000 dollars (200) less than a set of 001's in close to mint shape is gonna be tough. especially when youll then pay a shop to redrill and bore the centers/buy hubcentric rings. im assuming these are 1/2" inverted lips? if so almost everyone on this board would prefer at least 1.5" lips and that would reduce the et to almost 0, which would require some heavy fender modification. they are gonna be a tough sell here, but there may be someone willing to go to the effort to make them work. good luck.Comment

i really haven't seen any mint condition RS001 for under 1200 to 1300 on these boards...Comment
