However I am unaware of a ground clearance issue with the headers. We are modeling ours after the BavAuto headers, they are similar to STAHL but I am not sure if they are exact.

they do have a ground clearence issue on the lowest tube.

the 1 1/2" primary tubing diameter is kind of small for most non stock motors. they also do not have a collector cone, but that does not make a GREAT difference in a properly designed header, but every little bit helps.

i would suggest going with 1 5/8" primaries for a more universal applications or if you can, offer them in both 1 1/2" and 1 5/8" primaries

In that case I am not sure about the clearance issue. When we get around to installing the demo ones we will see if chages need to be made. They will be the same diameter as the e46 headers were. Anthony should be getting more of those in stock today so he told me he would measure them.

I want to say they are 1 5/8 but I will know for sure tonight. The merge from 3-1 willl be designed as smoothly as possible.

we are working on making the runners 1 5/8, but clearance may be an issue in which case it may end up being 1 1/2

nope they will bolt right up to a stock exhaust but it should be pretty easy to modify to fit any sort of aftermarket setup.

Ya it will bolt up straight. no modification necessary. Of course this will be demonstrated on my stock exhaust when we get them in.
