not gonna lie those headers look nice, if they are made with the same level of quality then they might be good. dyno numbers of course would be helpful though.

these headers have the same shitty merges as all the other ebay headers. This style of merge loses a lot of velocity when the pulses merge together, because of the huge void in the center of the tubes.

one place these things are always messed up is the inlets to at the head - the flanges are often not lined up with the ports. They actually look a lot like the B2B copies I had a while back, really pretty and decent construction, but horrible alignment and cheap merges. I'd love to see some pics of the port inlets.


you aren't going to get an $800 header for $200, no matter where it's made. These are basically going to end up being a mass produced tubular manifold, don't expect a miracle from them. so if you want a pretty $200 manifold, buy them, but if you actually want results, you'll have to pay.

you will see that 11rwhp on the dyno from the headers - thats less than $20 a horsepower, and if I can get 11rwhp from my m20 with these headers i would say its a good buy - more than just a pretty header.

apparently there was a mixup and they didnt get shipped. We contacted the company and they will ship them out ASAP. but I am gonna have to ask you guys to keep waiting. As soon as this prototype model is here, we will fit it to my car, make adjustments and have them mass produced. I again apologize for the delays.

I didn't say they wouldn't fit. tube alignment with the port openings was the issue I brought up. you're free to post up a pic of it to show it's better, it's just an issue I've seen with all chinese/taiwanese headers.

also look at the stock E46 manifolds - they're meant for emissions control, not efficiency. I suspect most of that 11whp was gained by simply removing the exhaust restriction. I'd be surprised if an M20 saw similar gains, with similar length primaries and collectors.

and I'm not saying don't buy them, but you're not going to get $800 of performance out of a $200 header. you could spend $200 on one collector of high quality before you even got to test fitting a single tube.

please dont mistake my comment as an appraisal of the flow design of these headers it was only a comment on the construction (materials/welds). I wouldnt know a well designed header if it was coming out my ass.

this is only partially true, the e46 headers are pretty restrictive in their design - the ports are oval the whole lenth, and they are very small.

No these are not the same headers you will find on ebay. We are making our own prototype so no one will hav ethese exact headers except us.

As soon as they are here, they will go on the car, and we will make what adjustments we need to. as soon as I have a real product to bring to the market, Anthony will probably come on here himself, as a vendor and set this up proper, this thread was initially to judge interested. we figured there maybe 20-30 people interested in this, apparently we were VERY wrong on that account.

Now you will see that BimmerBrakes.com has an excellent reputation, you can inspect their brake products in my build thread if you like.

That said you will see that I have a large post count and am in general respected on e46F as a guy who sticks to his word.

these headers will be of quality - they will last, and they will improve power and shift the power band toward the top end as they should. Otherwise they will not come to the market, that is my promise to you. However right now both Anthony and I need your patience, we have lives outside of this, but this is on the front burner, so please this is worth waiting for.
