I've seen this done by using a toothpick to apply one drop at a time, and then the spread it around to fill the void. It works very well.

Robert, you should see if you can make these for E36 handles. I think those guys would go apeshit over them as they are basically repros of the very expensive ones found on the ltw's and mtechnics. Let me know on that I would buy several sets for display and sell at my shop.

I discussed this with my machinist today since he is an E34 guy. Our first concern was removing door handles from the junk yard for cores since they very hard to remove. The other was how well his current tool set will work on plastic. If it doesn't there would be a one time charge to me for retooling.

I may order a set of new handles just to see what the price point would be. I will contact you if we go that route.

EDIT: Realoem shows the E36 handles are only sold as a complete assembly for $212 + core so scratch that. Anyone have any E36 door handles they would like to donate for testing?

Yes they are a bitch compared to the 2 screws on E30's. Anyhow great product and I am sure if good E36 cores were found fairly cheap that even $250-300 a set for e36 ones would be realistic. But there is the tooling concern.

What's the ETA on this run? Not in a hurry, just curious.

Probably 2-3 weeks. It really depends on how fast I can get more cores. If White325is comes through with a bunch I could crank out the next set much faster.

                      Robert,
I originally contacted you through S14 (same username)

I can get several E30 sets in the mail by Thursday. I can also provide some E36 handles if you are able to do them as well.
