i didn't drive my car at that height. i'm going to have shortened housings and struts, but i don't intend on daily-ing it that low either way.

a 205/45 is a 1/4 inch higher sidewall than a 195/45.
and a 205/50 is half inch higher than 195/45 so ill be tucked 1/4 inch perfect

Believe me it wont
The tires will slightly resemble rubberbands and have fender gap due to that. Also the suspension is going to limit you of travel as Mike is stating being that low(which will still net you fender gap with that tire on that wheel)!

there's more to going low than just the springs you choose. if you want to make a sled with stock shocks you'll probably be disappointed.

Where can I find these short body struts

Corrado inserts, Bilstein ix hd's, or send your sports to bilstein and pay $150. I find that it financially makes more sense to sell your sports and buy shorter inserts. Mike is getting my shortened bilstein sports when i toss in my revalved HD's. And then he'll probably buy my hd's when i get my ASTs or start getting my own line of struts made. But my own line of struts won't be till next year at the earliest. They will be made by bilstein but to my specs as far as lengths and valving.

I've arranged a sample set to be made and sent over. The new top hats are 2 piece and have needle bearings. The are designed in a way to accommodate all factory replacement strut designs. Hopefully i'll get them in soon. If not then i've already made arrangements to run off 60 sets of the current adjusters if it comes down to that.
