Is it too late to get in on this deal? I wantz

What is wrong with this picture? I had (I thought I had) Bilstein Sport shocks with Eibach Pro springs. I removed the springs and trying to install GE setup (with IE camber plates). But, it looks like I have the wrong shocks!!! Has anyone have any pictures of their installation (not the car but the shock/springs/plates). Or any measurements?

Thanks for the confirmation - Great news (I don't have to buy new shocks). But, how do I install this kit then? Spring is too short. On my previous setup (Eibach -prokit) I had to compress the spring and the top nut on the top of the shock held the whole assembly together.Anyone have any pictures of these kits being installed on standard length assemblies) not shortened?

Do I need to put everything together, then compress the shock and bolt it together? Thanks for any help (schematics would be great as well).

The spring isn't too short! When you install everything and set your car down it will settle and life will be good.

Yep, some springs are so short and stiff, that they are not under compression while the shock is fully extended. H&R Race springs do the same thing with Bilstein Sports, they have an inch or so of play. The shocks natural position is fully extended, but while on the car, the position is determined by the spring setup. When you set the car down, the shock will simply compress and once the spring is under pressure under the weight of the car, everything will work fine, just like stock.

                      Thanks for the replies,
I am still not 100%. Has anyone have any pictures of the shock-spring assembly off the car?

                      Something like this:

In the above picture, is the shock compressed?

                      Thanks

Dude, your strut is fine. That's the way it's supposed to be. Put the upper mount or camber plate on top, and put it on the car.

                        You'll see how it works.

When the strut is on the car, the gap will be taken care of. Adjust the height of the lower adjusters from there.

Plates came in Saturday afternoon. They were tested for fitment and mail this morning.

                                assembled pics

So I finally got my suspension installed, here's some lack luster pics. I will probably get some better ones tomorrow.

*I would assume the springs will settle a little as well. I'm not currently driving at this height either, just wanted to see the full adjustment.*
