I wouldn't recommend the headers unless you want to be their guinea pig but then again they do look like the ones listed on SuperSprint's official website too.

can't confirm the bavauto kit. I just pieced mine together using part numbers from realoem and bought them from autohaus for free shipping and no tax

Ireland Engineering sells them too, but for $65. I might spring for the IE kit due to the fact that their exhaust looks closer to that of the group buy. It might be tailored specific to the aftermarket muffler circumference. FWIW.

I had the ireland muffler once upon a time. Paid $450 for it. Used standard oem hardware.

Folks, looks like momentum for this has slowed. For those in the current gb, i think 10 is the most realistic number we will reach. Would any of you guys have any issues if I close it off whem we hit 10 instead of 20?

Any updated sound clip yet? I'm hoping it sounds as well as a real supersprint like the ones found on youtube. Or maybe theres a resonator that can be removed?

Probably no... What e30 ss exahusy clips did you listen to on youtube? As far as i know there is only 1 and it was harder to hear than the sample ebay exhaust clip i had. The link i posted is the best i can do unfortunately. My car is going to be in the paint shop longer than expected when i checked up on it to snap pics of how it looks like mounted on my car.

I can say that from personal experience they are both the same sounding, down to that idle burble as a result of their resonator-less chamber design. There are no baffles in these. Straight pipe design with rock wool insulation wrapping the pipes inside the muffler.

for starters, i think those are modified e36 supersprint exhausts or actual s14 versions made to fit in an e30
