When I left the JP1 jumper in my unit and grounded the door signal wire I remember hearing the relays in the box constantly cycling.

trunk setup lights

Just received mine and got it all hooked up at the trunk and its working perfectly.
However, i would like the lights the indicator lights to come on when lock/unlocking is this possible to achieve via a trunk setup vs the front? If so, what wires should i connect to at the trunk?

Anyone tried this yet?

Yes buy you would have to order new blanks for your car.

For the sake of keeping things tidy, can I just remove the pins from the connector for the unused wires? If so, any ideas on how can I do it?
