i hate how hard an oil filter change becomes with headers.
If you are really worried about that you can turn the oil filter adapter 180* so the filter will be facing foreward. Don't think it will work with an A/C car as the compressor will interfere.

Just so I understand completely, if I buy the header plus the mid-section and something like this, I would have a complete exhaust, no trip to the exhaust shop or welding required, just nuts and bolts?

If so, add me to the list!

That is correct. That is the big attraction to bav auto headers.

Figured I'd add about header size...

Just for comparisons sake my big block 446 motor for my mopar uses 1 3/4" headers and that's 500hp 550 ft/lbs. Putting a larger than needed header will kill low end torque due to the air loosing velocity after it leaves the head.

Do you want them coated or uncoated?

Uncoated please. Next time you speak with them can you ask if they would be ok with someone picking up a set instead of shipping? I am close enough that I could find a reason to shoot down to Mass.

                Thanks for organizing this.

just so u guys know if you are low the headers will hit the ground. They sit really low, mine have flat spotted two of the tubes right before the collector on each header.

How low are you? Do you have a picture showing the ground clearance?

DTM, any luck with the picture? I am lowered on H&R race springs and this concerns me.

                          Thanks, J

I just checked my car, it looks to be 1 or 1-1/4" lower than the factory pipe. I can deal with that.
