I'll try to measure mine today

measured it just now, the ALPINA 162 front Valance is exactly 9" tall

Late model E30 foglights (shown) are 3.5 inches tall. The spoiler looks pretty close to 2.5 times the height of the fog, so the air dam is probably pretty damn close to 9 inches tall. Or, a solid inch lower than an "IS" lip.

The bottom of my front bumper (top of valence) on my '89 with H&R race is 12.5 inches from the ground.

I'll try to measure mine today, I believe it was right around 15" but I measured it a while ago.
