    My question was more geared towards, does it simply slip-over the OE valence? Is the OE valence required? Or do you need to create your own brackets?

    My OE valence is bent and I'm deciding whether or not to go with the valence I've always wanted :D

    It mounts under the bumper.

    Here is the difference-the Type 162 is for cars with airconditioning and has extra openings.
