Type 159 for cars without A/C.
      It mounts under the bumper.

        Type 162

Type 162 for cars with A/C
        Notice the extra opening.
That's the only difference between the Type 159 and Type 162.

My question was more geared towards, does it simply slip-over the OE valence? Is the OE valence required? Or do you need to create your own brackets?

My OE valence is bent and I'm deciding whether or not to go with the valence I've always wanted :D

          Thanks

Not that I am aware of.
Maybe they offered one many years ago.
